When selecting a deep well pump, the following main technical parameters need to be considered to ensure that the selected pump can meet the actual needs:


Flow rate (Q) : Indicates the volume of liquid transported by the pump in unit time, usually in cubic meters per hour (m³/h) or liters per second (L/s). The selection must be determined according to the specific water requirements.


Head (H) : refers to the height that the pump can lift the water, that is, the vertical distance from the suction port to the water outlet plus the friction resistance loss of the water through the pipes, valves and other components. The head directly affects the working pressure and performance of the pump.


Power (P) : The electrical or mechanical power required to operate the pump, usually in kilowatts (kW). The power is closely related to flow, head and other parameters.


Efficiency (η) : The energy conversion efficiency of the pump in the process of transporting liquid, that is, the ratio of the effective power of the pump to the input power. High efficiency pumps work more energy efficiently.


Speed (n) : The rotation speed of the pump impeller, usually expressed in revolutions per minute (rpm). Speed is related to pump flow, head and other performance parameters.


Voltage (U) and current (I) : For electric deep well pumps, voltage and current are important parameters for motor operation. It is necessary to select the appropriate voltage level according to the power supply conditions, and pay attention to the rated current of the motor to avoid overload.


Frequency (f) : For AC electric deep well pumps, frequency is one of the important parameters of motor operation. Usually matches the frequency of the power supply system.


Insulation grade: indicates the heat resistance grade of the motor winding insulation material, which is essential for the safe operation of the electric deep well pump.


Protection level: indicates the protection ability of the motor housing against solid foreign bodies and water. For deep well pumps working in wet or underwater environments, a motor with a higher level of protection needs to be selected.
